Survey Software Question Types

There are a range of question types available to you so you can collect the data the way you need to! Below are a list of the question types available:

Single line of text

Checks can also be put onto this question to make sure the user is entering the correct information. For example you can check they are entering a number or a correct date.

A single line of text can collect any type of information from the user. It could be their age, date of birth, favourite colour etc. This type of question allows you to collect a broad range of information.

Multiple lines of text

Multiple lines of text allows you to collect larger amounts of information from your users
 Any other comments? 

Multiple Choice

Give your respondents a list of choices to select from and control the answers they give. Using a multiple choice instead of a text box means your data can be analysed a lot more efficiently

Selection

Much like the "Multiple Choice" question type except the respondent can only select 1 answer.

Likert Scale

A Likert scale is a type of psychometric response scale often used in questionnaires, and is the most widely used scale in survey research. When responding to a Likert questionnaire item, respondents specify their level of agreement to a statement.

A dropdownlist provides the flexibility to have a large amount of answers in a compact area. Users simply select an option by clicking on the arrow.

A ranking question gives your respondents the option to rank each answer. This question lets you control exactly how your answers are collected.
